Ca$h Out accused of forcing woman into prostitution
Atlanta rapper Ca$h Out was indicted in 2022 and is facing RICO charges of rape, sex trafficking, and luring women into prostitution. He was arrested alongside his cousin, Tyrone Taylor, and his mother, Lisa Smith, also known as Mama Cash.
At the Fulton County Courthouse on July 1st, a woman testified that she was sexually assaulted and forced into prostitution by the rapper (real name John Gibson) and Taylor.
WSBTV reports that the anonymous woman was homeless at the time of the alleged incident, which took place in 2019. She claimed she went up to Taylor near the airport and requested money for a bus ticket. From there, the woman alleges she was taken to the Airway Motel on Fulton Industrial Boulevard and sexually assaulted.
She claims she was sexually assaulted and raped for two hours, being held in the motel room for two days. The woman says Taylor made her wash her genitals before ordering her to stand in the street for prostitution.
According to her testimony, he told her to spend the morning walking down the road, offering passersby $40 for oral sex and $100 for sexual intercourse. At some point, Gibson allegedly showed up at the motel and sexually assaulted her.
When asked why she didn’t flee while outside, she said, “Just because I was out of the room doesn’t mean I was out of their control.”
Ca$h Out has over 350,000 Instagram followers and is best known for his 2011 single ‘Cashin’ Out‘. The song went platinum and reached number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100, racking up over 81 million Spotify streams.
He released his debut album, Let’s Get It, in 2014, which featured Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign, Waka Flocka Flame, and Rich Homie Quan.
