Cardi B reveals dating struggles after separation from Offset
Cardi B has been extremely vocal online recently. From delving into the US Election, loving her husband to hating him, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper recently expressed her dissatisfaction with the dating pool and the types of people she has to sift through now that she is back looking for love.
During a social media session, Cardi B retweeted a fellow female who also expressed how incredibly painful she finds dating in 2024. The lady’s post read: “Dating is absolutely TERRIBLE. I found out a n*gga still was w/ his bm, stopped talking to him instantly, met someone else, vibes was wayyyy too good. I ended up saying, ‘something ain’t right, you gotta gf?’ this n*gga say ‘why does that matter?’ OH MY FUCKING GOD.”
Unsurprisingly, the Invasion of Privacy creator more than agreed with this summation of dating and replied, “I’m telling you …The dating pool got piss in it.” Last month, Cardi went on a vicious rant aimed at Offset, during which she called him several vile names.
Taking to X, in a series of since-deleted tweets, Cardi wrote, “Bro, I wish the worst on this man. I never hated somebody soooo much, and these bitches be so [thirsty] to have him please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is to heavy!!”
One of Cardi’s fans suggested she stop attacking Offset as he is the father of her children, but the ‘WAP’ hitmaker claimed that she knew the real Offset a claimed he was a “piece of shit”, writing, “Yea, he is that’s why I don’t wish him death ..but I truly hate this dirty ass narcissistic piece of shit. And his family and his friends never check him. That’s why he is always going to be a piece of shit of a Person.”
The female emcee even went as far as to say she hopes he “get[s] hit by a fuckin truck.” She added: “He really is just a dark cloud on anybody life he enters.” Although they have had ups and downs before, Cardi B has assured fans that, unfortunately, the two have decided to divorce and that they do not currently live together.
In late September, the former couple got into a public feud on social media in which Offset accused Cardi of sleeping with someone while she was pregnant with their third child, who was born earlier that month. DJ Akademiks then intervened, saying that, to his knowledge, it was NFL player Stefon Diggs. Although none of it was proven it is clear that Cardi’s divorce is negatively impacting her.
