Cardi B challenges BIA to prove she was unfaithful to Offset after online spat
‘Bodak Yellow’ rhymer Cardi B has reignited what seems to be a low-level feud with Massachusetts emcee BIA. In fact, Cardi B is now making the BIA an offer if she can produce some evidence that proves her claim that Cardi B cheated on Offset during their marriage — an accusation she made earlier this year.
The bad blood between BIA and Cardi seemed to come to the forefront in the spring when Cardi B released the track ‘Like What (Freestyle)’ only a few months after BIA put out her song ‘I’m That Bitch.’ Both songs sample Missy Elliot’s 1999 hit ‘She’s a Bitch.’
One fan decided to compare the two tracks. However, the Massachusetts rhymer didn’t approve of this comparison and showed a slight disdain for Cardi in the process. As a result, the Bronx artist decided to respond to BIA on social media, and the pair began exchanging tracks with subliminal shots aimed at one another.
BIA then alleged that Cardi cheated on her husband Offset and insisted that she had the receipts to prove it. The rumour that Cardi B was unfaithful to Offset wasn’t new and has taken on a life of its own this year, but the Invasion Of Privacy creator has stressed that it is a false narrative.
Irrespective of this, a fan brought the allegations back up on social media last week – and Cardi was quick to shut them down. On X, one fan wrote, “BIA spilt all that girl’s tea” with a screenshot of BIA’s lyrics, to which Cardi replied, “That bitch ain’t spill .. I’ll pay her a million dollars in cash to provide receipts of me talking to any nigga before this situation !!!”
BIA responded only hours later on X, writing, “Boooo. Beneath me. Next.” Cardi B’s husband, Offset himself, has previously accused his estranged wife of cheating on him while she was pregnant. However, his claims are yet to be substantiated.
Earlier this month, the former Migos rapper’s X account was hacked, and DMs between him and Cardi were leaked online and were all over the blogs. The conversation, which took place in March, found the “Clout” rapper accusing his wife of sleeping around. Furthermore, he even questioned whether their newborn child was his.
Cardi B responded by accusing the Atlanta lyricist of having an alleged mistress and accused his mother of “robbing” her, writing, “Everyone knows about you and pree EVERYONE KNOWS that’s your girlfriend.” She continued, “And on top of that, you couldn’t stand up like a man for Kulture to Shya, and your mom robbed me cold.”
The messy divorce process that engulfed Cardi and Offset this year was ugly; at best, they had a mutual disdain for each other. However, it was incredibly salacious for bloggers and podcasters like DJ Akademiks and Joe Budden, who joined the discussion and repeatedly weighed in on the rumours.
