Cam’ron hits back at actor Omar Gooding’s vicious diss track ‘Fix Ya Mouth’

Cam’ron has responded to Omar Gooding after the actor released a diss track called ‘Fix Ya Mouth’. During an episode of his It Is What It Is show in December, the Dipset rapper spoke to 50 Cent about the career paths of black actors, claiming they have to wait to be cast rather than financing their own projects.

No disrespect to nobody I’m talking about,” he said. “But [if you’re] Ving Rhames, you’re sitting around, or Omar Gooding Jr, y’all n*ggas sitting around. I would have saved my money and shot my own shit by now. But a black actor has to sit around for a 50 Cent or somebody in your lane to come pick them up to put them in something.”

Gooding took issue with Cam’ron’s comments, between mentioning him altogether and wrongly adding “Jr.” to his name. “Not a fan of the word ‘Diss.’ I just respond when my name is brought up even if its pronounced ignorantly like by adding a Jr and I live in my hip-hop,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’ve got a WHOLE LOT to say.. time to speak up. This record is simply a teaser but its gotten yall attention so buckle up!”

The actor released his diss track on January 25th, which saw him take shots at Cam for nearly three minutes. “I don’t know why you playing, you not a Killa, man/ Like Kenny showed us, there’s plenty of ways to kill a man,” he raps. “You only get one warning shot, don’t make me do it/ You know my name, you say my name, don’t add no Jr. to it.”

Gooding’s father, Cuba Gooding Sr, was the lead singer of The Main Ingredient, while his brother is Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding Jr.

Later in the song, he says, “He probably didn’t mean it like he said it, but he said it so fuck that dude/ I know them sneaky freaks and how they think/ They like to booboo and don’t think it stink and then they favourite colour’s pink/ But probably call it salmon.”

Cam’ron responded to Gooding in the comments of one of his Instagram posts, writing, “Lol my bad bro. I don’t want no smoke.”
