Busta Rhymes asks to hump Mariah Carey’s leg at VMAs after-party

Busta Rhymes appeared to overstep some boundaries at an after-party for the MTV VMAs. In a video that surfaced online, the rapper asked to hump Mariah Carey’s leg while speaking into a microphone.

Bus-a-Bus accepted the ‘Rock the Bells Visionary Award’ on September 7th during a ceremony at New York’s UBS Arena.

He also performed a medley of hits, including ‘Gimme Some More’, ‘Touch It‘ and ‘Pass the Courvoisier’, while bringing out Joyner Lucas, Papoose, and GloRilla.

Later that night, Busta made a raunchy plea to Carey during a private party, noting that Carey is no longer committed to a husband or fiancé.

“Mariah Carey, we are gonna start right there,” he said. “You ain’t got a husband no more, I wanna hump on your leg. I wanna hump on your leg, Mariah Carey. You ain’t got no husband no more, ain’t no fiancés around, let me hump on your leg like a nasty dog.”

Carey, who was in the room after receiving the ‘Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award’ earlier that night, shouted something back at Busta, but it’s unclear what she said.

Busta and Carey have collaborated several times in the past, including songs like ‘I Know What You Want’, ‘Last Night a DJ Saved My Life’, and, most recently, a remix of ‘Type Dangerous’ alongside Method Man and Redman earlier this year.

Despite no longer being married, Carey has recently been rumoured to be dating Anderson Paak. The pair have been spotted together in public, with the ‘Oxnard’ singer receiving a writing credit on Carey’s ‘Type Dangerous’.

Carey was previously married to Nick Cannon between 2008 and 2016, and Tommy Mottola between 1993 and 1998.
