Burna Boy stops Colorado concert to kick out sleeping fan

Burna Boy kicked off his North American tour in Colorado this week. During the show, he stopped his performance to call out a fan for sleeping.

The 34-year-old Nigerian artist hosted a concert at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre as part of his No Sign of Weakness Tour.

At one point in the night, Burna spotted a girl sleeping in the front row and told her partner to remove her from the venue.

“When I stand up here and see you over there with your girl sleeping in front of me, it pisses me the fuck off, man,” he said. “So, please, take her the fuck home, all right?”

Burna was so bothered by the person sleeping that he refused to perform more songs until she left the premises.

“Fast, take her home, go,” he said. “I’m not doing no more songs until you take her home. Real life. You’re taking the fucking piss, bro.”

The couple remained in their seats at first, but eventually left the show after being encouraged by other attendees to exit. Shortly after, Burna continued his performance.

Colorado was the first night of his tour in the US. Before the end of the year, he’s set to perform in Seattle, Oakland, Inglewood, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Toronto, and many other cities.

Burna released his latest album, No Sign of Weakness, via Atlantic Records in July as the follow-up to 2023’s I Told Them. The project reached number six on the UK Albums Chart with features from Travis Scott, Mick Jagger, Shaboozey, and Stromae.

His Travis collaboration, ‘TaTaTa’, has over 49 million streams, while ‘Bundle by Bundle’ also has 41 million streams.
