Brandy has been admitted to the hospital after suffering a seizure. On Tuesday, October 11th, at around midday, paramedics were called and rushed to the famous singer’s house. They recognised that Brandy was in the throes of a seizure and immediately took her to the local hospital for treatment.
As of Wednesday morning, Brandy was still in the hospital, but she is expected to make a recovery while medical staff maintain a close eye on her condition. The singer’s parents have been by her side since she was admitted to the hospital, providing never-ending support.
It is unknown thus far exactly what caused the seizure or if there have been any latent health concerns that may have triggered it. Brandy took to social media to give assurance to her fans, friends and family.
She wrote: “To my beloved fam, friends, and starz thank you for sending love and light my way. I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon.”
Only last week, Brandy had also taken to social media to support her brother Ray J, after he had expressed what appeared to be suicidal thoughts online. She shared a picture of them together, with the caption, “Need you bro”.
Ray J had posted a video in which he looked to be sitting on a ledge looking at the moon. He captioned the video, “If it wasn’t 4 my Kidz I would jump off and die tonight.” Another similar video read, “SHOULD I JUST JUMP off and end it rit [sic] now” and “trying to figure it out – maybe this life was a illusion – maybe the next life was my real reality.” However, both videos have since been deleted.
