Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The iconic Cleveland group, behind hip-hop classics such as ‘Thuggish Ruggish Bone’ and ‘Tha Crossroads‘, are being etched into history on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Members Bizzy Bone, Flesh-N-Bone, Krayzie Bone, Wish Bone, and Layzie Bone will be honoured during a ceremony on July 8th, with Xzibit and radio host Big Boy also appearing at the event.

Following the news, Bone Thugs issued a statement, thanking their families and friends for getting them to this point.

“Receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a blessing beyond words,” they wrote. “Coming from Cleveland, we never imagined that the music we created would touch so many lives around the world. This honour belongs not only to Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, but to our families, our city, our fans, and everyone who believed in us from the beginning.”

They added, “More than three decades later, we’re still here, still creating, and still carrying the legacy forward. We thank the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for this incredible recognition and dedicate this star to the generations who continue to keep our music alive.”

Krayzie Bone also took to Instagram to share a personal message about the celebration.

“After all these years, we’re officially receiving our star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” he said on Instagram. “This is bigger than us. This is for the fans, the family, and everyone who’s been rocking with Bone since day one.”

Bone Thugs released their last album, New Waves, in 2017. They last topped the Billboard 200 chart in 1995 and 1997 with E 1999 Eternal and The Art of War, respectively.
