Bobby Shmurda threatens to kill fan in nightclub brawl

Bobby Shmurda was involved in an incident at a nightclub in Minneapolis, Minnesota, over the weekend.

The Brooklyn drill rapper was performing at Gold Room on December 13th, with the show ending in a brawl.

According to TMZ, eyewitnesses said that someone threw a bottle at Shmurda and shouted, “Fuck Bobby Shmurda!”

Shmurda allegedly yelled back at the fan and threatened to kill him if he did it again. Several men then ran towards the rapper and started throwing punches at him.

In video footage of the altercation, Shmurda is seen escaping to the DJ booth. He allegedly used a chair to fend off the attackers before police officers escorted him out of the building and into his vehicle.

Following the incident, Shmurda took to his Instagram Stories with a post that showed him dancing and saying, “You just fucked up the whole program.”

This isn’t the first time one of his shows has resulted in an altercation in recent years. In February 2024, Shmurda hosted a party at the Proud nightclub in London and performed two songs.

At around 4am, Shmurda allegedly got into an argument with the promoter, with footage showing him in a crowd of people pushing and shoving. He reportedly spat on someone in the middle of the incident. Shortly after, Shmurda left the club and no injuries were reported.

Shmurda was released from prison in 2021 after serving six years in prison on conspiracy to murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment charges.

His most recent project, SHMURDAGOTCASH, a collaborative release with lougotcash, was released in October 2022. The 31-year-old’s biggest single remains ‘Hot N*gga’, which put him on the map in 2014.
