Birdman and Master P announce ‘Cash Money and No Limit Tour’
Birdman and Master P have announced a joint tour.
The two label heads have revealed that they’ll be hitting the road later this year on the Cash Money and No Limit Tour.
The pair will perform 17 shows in cities such as Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Detroit, Dallas, Washington DC, Memphis, Tampa, Chicago, and others.
The poster for the tour reads, “Two legendary labels. One historic tour.” Boosie Badazz is set to join them as a supporting act for every show except Dallas and Indianapolis.
Announcing the news, P wrote on Instagram, “It’s about to be EPIC! No Limit x Cash Money Tour, one more time for the streets… Salute to all of our fans. All our No limit soldiers rock y’all camo and witness history! Get your tickets at bmnshows.com #WeAreTheCulture.”
Cash Money and No Limit are two of the biggest hip-hop labels of all time, and were both founded in New Orleans.
In a statement, P added, “The fans have been waiting for a tour like this for a long time. We came from New Orleans and built something the world had never seen before – movements that changed music, hip-hop culture, and the business forever.”
The two labels took part in a VERZUZ at ComplexCon in Las Vegas last year. Speaking after the event, P told The Laboratory Podcast, “I see so many people with No Limit tattoos on them, TRU tattoos, and it’s like, man, we really did something that touched people, that made people want to be involved in this movement. Because they know we young Black men that wanted something out of life and went and did it.”
He continued, “I want to show other people’s sons and daughters that, ‘Look what we doing and we all could make some money. We all could be successful. We just got to have integrity and do the right thing. And don’t be afraid to grow up.’”
