Beyoncé joined by Kendrick Lamar and Diana Ross for birthday concert

Fans who attended Beyoncé‘s recent Los Angeles show were delighted when the American singer brought out two special guests – Kendrick Lamar and Diana Ross.

The musicians joined Beyoncé in honour of her 42nd birthday celebrations on Tuesday (September 4th) at Los Angeles’ SoFi stadium. The performance was part of the singer’s Renaissance World Tour, which began in May.

Beyoncé shocked audience members when she welcomed Kendrick Lamar to the stage for a rendition of the ‘AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM’ remix. It marked the pair’s first live performance of the song.

Later in the night, Beyoncé was joined by music legend Diana Ross, who sang her song ‘Love Hangover’ in honour of the musician’s birthday. Ross stated, “I’m here to celebrate Beyoncé’s birthday,” while encouraging a crowd singalong of ‘Happy Birthday’.

In response, Beyoncé exclaimed, “Thank you so much! You are so amazing. This is the legendary Diana Ross!” She added, “My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry. I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m thankful to look out and see your faces.”

“I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music which then heals all of you. I’m thankful for every flaw, every stretch mark, and every fupa.”
