Bad Bunny bashes ICE “motherfuckers” over Puerto Rico arrests

Bad Bunny has slammed ICE after sharing footage of a raid in Puerto Rico. The King of Latin Trap took to social media to call out the Immigration and Customs Enforcement for seemingly taking action on Carolina’s Avenida Pontezuela.

Bunny posted the clip on his Instagram Stories with “ICE” over the top, as agents detained people in the street. In the background of the video, he says, “Look, those motherfuckers are in these cars, RAV-4s. They’re here in Pontezuela. Sons of bitches, instead of leaving the people alone and working there.”

Protests have taken place across the United States this year in response to ICE arrests since President Donald Trump returned to office. An ICE investigator estimated 20,000 immigrants living without legal status in Puerto Rico, with around 500 arrests already being made in Trump’s second term.

Bunny is one of many artists who have spoken out against the raids. At the 2025 BET Awards, Doechii made a stand while accepting her ‘Best Female Hip-Hop Artist’ award.

“There are ruthless attacks that are creating fear and chaos in our communities in the name of law and order,” she said. “Trump is using military forces to stop a protest, and I want y’all to consider what kind of government it appears to be when every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the military is deployed against us. What type of government is that?”

Earlier this month, Finneas attended a protest in Los Angeles and claimed he was hit with tear gas, writing “fuck ICE” on Instagram. He stated he was “tear-gassed almost immediately at the very peaceful protest Downtown – they’re inciting this.”

Over the weekend, Olivia Rodrigo said she was “deeply upset about these violent deportations of my neighbours” in LA.
