Bad Bunny did not approve Harry Styles "diss" tweet at Coachella

It has been reported that an image appearing to diss Harry Styles during Bad Bunny’s Coachella set at the weekend was not approved by the Puerto Rican musician.

When the reggaeton singer – real name Benito Ocasio – performed his track ‘El Apagón’ from Un Verano Sin Ti during his headline set, a tweet emerged on the screen saying: “goodnight benito could do as it was but harry could never do el apagon.”

A representative for Ocasio has since maintained that the musician has declined to comment but claimed to Rolling Stone that he did not approve the image with the tweet.

In response, Sturdy.Co, the company that supplied the background visuals for Bad Bunny’s Coachella set, also maintained that the artist didn’t approve of the tweet.

They wrote on Instagram: “Our intention is to create light hearted designs that embody Bad Bunny’s personality and amplify the experience he presents as a performer. The request from the artist during the visuals for ‘El Apagón’ performance was to use the image only and not text from the tweet, which we take responsibility for and correct it for Friday’s performance. These visuals are a celebration of Bad Bunny and his dedication to empowering his native island, Puerto Rico.”
