Arkansas rapper YTB Fatt breaks silence amid death rumours

Arkansas rapper YTB Fatt has shut down rumours about him being shot and killed.

The 24-year-old (real name Cavon Paige) became a trending topic this week as rumours spread about him dying.

However, the West Memphis native took to social media on April 1st to shut down the gossip once and for all.

“Yall BuShitting,” he wrote on Instagram. “U Wanna whack Fatt Buy U a Bomb… ‘I’m Back’ Out Now. link in Bio.”

‘I’m Back’, directed by M Harris, has over 100,000 YouTube views in the first 13 hours of its release.

According to XXL, shots were fired during the filming of a music video. Fatt’s brother reportedly confirmed the shooting but denied that Fatt was injured.

“We don’t get hit,” he said in a clip. “N*gga came through. My little brother was shooting a video. Hating-ass n*ggas in the hood playing.”

However, he confirmed that his little sister was shot during the incident. “Get well, lil sis,” he said. “But Fatt good, man. Tell these fan-ass n*ggas and fan-ass hoes to stay out my inbox. We good. My little brother good.”

Fatt is best known for songs like ‘Get Back’ and ‘Pretty Brown’ featuring Lil Baby and Rylo Rodriguez. He released his last album, Da Foxprint, in June 2025.

During an interview last year, Fatt explained what separates him from other rappers.

“My city ain’t never did nothing like whatever I do,” he said. “When it get done, it’s the biggest. So, now, you’re like, OK, it’s some more hope, it’s some more faith. It don’t just stop at where we at right now. It really gets bigger. When they see it, that’s what they gonna say. It’s gon’ mean a lot.”
