A timeline of Megan Thee Stallion vs Tory Lanez trial

Houston rapper, Megan Thee Stallion is a big name in hip-hop and after Cardi B and Nicki Minaj is considred by most to be one of the biggest female rappers in the world right now. However, there is one controversy that has been following her since the summer of 2020 and that is her ongoing legal battle with Canadian rapper and siger Tory lanez.

Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson grew very close to Megan Thee Stallion in 2019 as according to Megan he helped her deal with the loss of her mother to a cancerous brain tumour. However, on July of 2020 that all changed after the two got into a (possibly drunken) disagreement which led to the female rapper being shot in the foot.

Ever since then the two have been feuding on social media and Tory Lanez has been in and out of jail more times than anybody could count. As a result a lot of controversy has built up around the two with everybody wanting to know who will eventually win this legal battle.

With so many not fully understanding the case, how it began, and who is involved, below we have provided a timeline of all the events that have happened since that horrific night in 2020.
