A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie survives horrific car crash in New York

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie was involved in a serious car crash on March 16th but managed to walk away from the scene without any injuries. The Bronx rapper was driving through New York at around 1am when he completely wrecked his vehicle.

Videos from the crash site show a white sports car smashed to pieces, with the bonnet removed from the front. The vehicle’s top was also seemingly removed during the accident before being put on a recovery lorry and towed away.

According to TMZ, A Boogie was miraculously unharmed, going home after the crash without requiring a trip to the hospital. There were also no other injuries as a result of the crash. It’s currently unclear whether it was a single-car crash or a collision between two vehicles.

50 Cent, as he so often does, came across the story and took to his Instagram page to joke about the near-fatal incident.

“The young [ninja]’s in NY glad he wrapped that shit,” he wrote. “They be like yo why @aboogievsartist tried to pull-up on us all crazy in the Ferrari and shit. How much them shits cost, 500K after tax. I hope they can’t fix it. LOL @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi @50centaction He good Tho!”

A Boogie collaborated with 50 in 2019 on Don Q’s ‘Yeah Yeah’ with Murda Beatz. The collaboration came after the 29-year-old interpolated 50’s classic Get Rich or Die Tryin’ song ‘Wanksta’ for ‘My Day One’ in 2017.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie released his last album, Better Off Alone, in May 2024. Released on Atlantic Records, the project debuted at number 18 on the Billboard 200 chart with features from Young Thug, Future, Lil Durk, Cash Cobain, Fridayy and Mariah the Scientist.
