SZA shares three brand new songs

SZA has surprisingly released three brand new songs, ‘Nightbird’, ‘I Hate You’, and ‘Joni’.

The three new songs all appeared on an anonymous Soundcloud account, which was simply titled “.” Fans were then sent into a flurry when they discovered that she was behind the songs and uncovered the three new tracks from SZA.

The singer confirmed they were indeed her efforts when she tweeted a link to the page and revealed she was “dumping random thoughts”. She then interacted with a fan who responded and asked for a recorded version of ‘Shirt’; in response, SZA added, “She next.”

‘Nightbird’ sees her sing, “Stay the night, Even if it’s not for real, Stay the night, Only got you for a short time, Going through a hard time, Hoping you could carry my demons part time (My demons, oh), Asking too much past the basics, Too much, just stay.”

Meanwhile, on ‘I Hate You’, SZA erupts, “I’ve been numb, baby
I’ve been reminiscin’, Lately, I’ve been missin’ you, Wish it was different than what it was (Oh yeah, ayy), I’ve been numb, baby, Lost in the lie of us, Lost, ain’t no findin’ us, I’ve been numb, baby.”
