Lil Nas X has revealed on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden why he now longer is interested in dating famous people.
“I used to use Raya,” the rapper said to Corden of the celebrity dating app. “I think I stopped using Raya… It just like, fell off for me and I just started to meet people in person.” He added: “Raya is just very famous, everyone’s famous on there. I’ve met quite a few famous guys. I think I’ve come to know that I don’t like dating famous people.”
When asked by Corden about whether any former guests on Carpool Karaoke are users on the app, Lil Nas X replied: “For sure. I’m not going to tell you names.” The pair then joked that happily married family man Michael Bublé is on Raya with the rapper saying: “Yeah, yeah. You caught me. Could you imagine? Michael Bublé is gay?”
Last month, Lil Nas X opened up about his upcoming second album and confirmed his collaboration with Saucy Santana, ‘Down Souf Hoes’ will be included on the release. He said on Twitter: “idk (how many tracks). i love so many songs plus i’m still in the studio making music so it’s gone be hard to pick.”
Unfortunately, Nas X is still yet to be in a position to confirm when new music will be shared, but, he did excite fans by saying it would be “most likely summer” but this is yet to be finalised. “it’s mostly planning now,” he added. “i could easily just release music but i have to build moments around this shit. i have to go bigger than before!”
