50 Cent to receive eye-watering fee for Las Vegas residency

50 Cent is a mogul and, since the mid-2000s he has been more of a businessman than a musician. Whether he’s investing in beverages, TV production companies, clothing, or other artists, the Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ creator has become a multi-millionaire with an unbelievably varied portfolio.

That said, Fifty has decided to take up the opportunity to have a six-show residency at PH Live inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino that will see him bag an eye-watering $15 million, meaning he will be pocketing $2.5million per show.

The 50 Cent: In Da Club residency will kick off with a New Year’s Eve party sponsored by his own liquor brand, Sire Spirits. As the title of the residency insinuates, this residency will see the emcee perform some of his most well-known hits, such as ‘In Da Club,’ ‘Candy Shop,’ and ‘21 Questions.’

The show will close out this year, with residency set to run into early 2025. The shows are scheduled for December 27th, 28th, 30th, and 31st, as well as January 3rd and 4th. In a statement about 50 Cent: In Da Club, the lyricist stated, “I always bring the energy, and Las Vegas is the perfect spot to create an unforgettable experience for my fans. We’re talking big production, surprises, and the ultimate New Year’s Eve party for my Vegas residency.”

The Curtis creator then took to social media to make an announcement about the residency and tell his followers that it will be a series of shows “you don’t wanna miss”.

The set of Las Vegas concerts mark the artist’s first series of live performances since the 2023 ‘Final Lap’ tour which reportedly grossed more than $100 million making him only the second rapper to reach that milestone.

The ‘Final Lap’ tour sold over 1.05million tickets across 83 shows in North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. 2024 has seen the Power producer focus on opening the  G-Unit Studios in Shreveport, Louisiana. He also set–up the Humor & Harmony festival and released his first novel, The Accomplice. 50 Cent’s business success in 2024 helped him garner the ‘Hustler of the Year Award’ at the BET Hip Hop Awards on October 15th.
