50 Cent mocks Diddy once again after old clip resurfaces online
50 Cent has shared his disdain for disgraced rapper P Diddy yet again after an old interview resurfaced on social media.
50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, has taken issue with his fellow contemporary for the best part of two decades, though this has intensified of late in light of the latest allegations regarding the sexual misconduct allegations against Diddy.
Jackson appeared on a show called The Breakfast Club in 2018, where he promoted his show Den of Thieves alongside O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Gerard Butler. During the resurfaced clip, Jackson makes his opinions on Diddy clear, airing his response to a previous comment made by the rapper that read: “Sorry I can no longer help you guys. Soon you will all be gay and happy. You are all now left under the leadership of Puffy Daddy. Report to the nearest rainbow.”
Judging by the following response, Jackson took the opportunity to instate his position, claiming that, no matter what Diddy says, it comes across as “fruity.” He added, “he told me he would take me shopping and I looked at him like, ‘what did you just say?'”
Taking his distaste a step further, he captioned the re-shared post: “I just want to apologize for being heterosexual. I understand it’s offensive these days. I’m sorry I was born this way, I hope you can accept me in the new world.”
Jackson has commented on Diddy’s sexuality on numerous occasions over the years, but it is clear that he has also embraced the rapper’s downfall with numerous projects and opportunities, including a new Netflix show based on the disgraced star.
Jackson told Variety of their plans for the documentary in a statement: “This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far.”
Continuing, “We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”
Combs was arrested in New York on federal charges on the evening of September 16th. The musician pled not guilty to the charges of racketeering and sex trafficking that were brought against him the following day. If he is found guilty, he could be imprisoned for life.
