50 Cent mocks Irv Gotti’s stroke
Wack 100 revealed on a recent episode of his podcast that hip-hop DJ and producer Irv Gotti suffered a stroke several months ago. He shared a photo of Gotti walking with a cane due to his stroke, which eventually ended up making its way around Instagram, with lots of people sharing it.
In a bid to respond to the news, a representative on behalf of Gotti revealed that he has since made a full recovery and is currently at home with those closest to him. Although Gotti would likely have kept the update on his medical situation private if Wack 100 hadn’t decided to reveal he had had a stroke.
“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago,” said his spokesperson. “He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life.”
Many fans called out Wack 100 for being insensitive for sharing the news of Irv Gotti along with the picture, claiming it was an invasion of privacy and wasn’t his news to share. However, Wack 100’s actions look minor in comparison with what 50 Cent posted on social media about the situation.
Longtime foe 50 Cent hasn’t hesitated to weigh in. With little to no sympathy, the rapper shared the same photo of Gotti using a cane with the caption, “[Eyes emoji] Damn homie, in high school you was the man home, WTF happened to you?” 50 said, quoting the lyrics from his track ‘Wanksta’, “I want Irv to get well, so he can have to watch my next wave LOL.”
This isn’t the first time 50 Cent has lashed out at Gotti over Instagram. Just last month, it was revealed that Gotti was getting sued for alleged sexual assault, which 50 also had a lot to say about. He wrote in a post, “The legal fees are gonna break his ass half, he ain’t got no money.”
It’s not unusual for 50 Cent to troll his rivals on social media. He hasn’t held back in being vocal about Diddy following the string of allegations surrounding him. He has also previously lashed out at Floyd Mayweather, accusing him of being unable to read. His recent comments making light of Gotti’s stroke; however, appear to have potentially gone too far for a lot of people.
