50 Cent hires 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo to perform in ‘BMF’ season three

Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, has announced that he has given acting roles to both 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo in the upcoming third season of his TV show BMF, which airs on STARZ. Jackson made the reveal on Instagram.

He made two posts on the social media site (although they have now been deleted) to share with fans that the two rappers would appear in the show alongside several other big-name stars, including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mo’nique, Serayah and Yung Miami.

“We making big moves for Season 3. Welcome to #BMF @Neyo,” 50 wrote about Ne-Yo, before turning his attention to the ‘No Lie’ artist in the next post. “We got @2chainz locked in for #BMF season 3. Just wait, it’s going to be [fire].” Both rappers have previously acted, with Ne-Yo playing in films such as Red Tails and Stomp the Yard, while 2 Chainz has offered his services to Law & Order.

Jackson’s joy comes in fresh off the back of the third season getting a renewal announcement. STARZ president of programming Kathryn Busby said in a statement, “BMF captures the essence of Detroit through elevated, gritty storytelling, and our fans have passionately responded to this show more than ever before,”

She added, “Following such a strong debut with Season 2, we’re thrilled to continue to expand on the incredible story of the Flenory brothers as they change the game by writing their own rules. We can’t wait to see what our extraordinary producers and cast deliver next.”

Jackson also announced that STARZ would be making a number of different BMF spin-off shows when he celebrated 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo joining the cast. Reportedly, there are a further three shows in production. “MF is on fire season 3 here we go,” he added. “Spin offs on the way BMF IMMORTALS 1,2,and 3 BOOM GLGGreenLightGang I don’t miss!” He’d also recently signed a broadcast deal with Fox.
