50 Cent to recruit Eminem for ‘Street Fighter’ soundtrack

50 Cent has revealed that Eminem will be on the soundtrack for the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

The G-Unit rapper was confirmed to star in the latest film adaptation of the video game franchise in June.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, 50 announced that he was recruiting his longtime friend and collaborator, Slim Shady, for new music for the movie.

“I’m gonna get @eminem on deck to make some music for this movie Street Fighter,” he wrote. “New Music on the way!”

Scheduled for release on October 16th, 2026, 50 is set to play Balrog, “a disgraced boxer who is also the bodyguard of the villain.”

When the film was first announced, The Hollywood Reporter reported he was “deep into training for the part and will be doing his own stunts for the picture.”

In a social media post at the time, 50 wrote, “No Days off. Let’s work. All roads lead to Shreveport. Boom.” Following confirmation of the role, he confirmed his stunt training by sharing a screenshot of a news headline.

Street Fighter is set to star Jason Momoa as Blank, Noah Centineo as Ken, Orville Peck as Vega, WWE star Roman Reigns (also known as Joe Anoa’i) as Akuma, Andrew Koji as Ryu, and Callina Liang as Chun-Li.

The movie is being directed by Kitao Sakurai. It’s produced by Mary Parent, with a screenplay from Dalan Musson.

50 was once signed to Eminem’s Shady Records, releasing Get Rich or Die Tryin’, The Massacre, Curtis, and Before I Self Destruct on the label. They’ve collaborated many times on songs like ‘Patiently Waiting’, ‘Gatman and Robbin’, ‘Don’t Push Me’, ‘Jimmy Crack Corn’, and ‘Never Enough’, to name a few.
