50 Cent dislocated a stuntman's finger on film set

‘In Da Club’ rapper 50 Cent recently dislocated the finger of a stuntman while filming the newly released fourth instalment of The Expendables series. One of many film franchises the artist has starred in.

The Queens emcee (real name Curtis Jackson) took to Instagram earlier this week to speak about the incident and explain how he was heavier than usual during the film shoot, writing, “I was 237 lbs in EXPENDABLES 4 I’m back down to 208. I still got a little POWER check out the movie.”

In an interview with Popculture.com, the film’s stunt coordinator, Alan Ng, explained how the action sequence played out in the leadup to the collision, detailing “50 Cent is very powerful and strong so that made it very easy to work with him. He’s very powerful and strong, so he’s like a tank.”

He continued, “He was actually so strong that in one of the scenes, he was supposed to barge into a stunt performer, and his strength resulted in the guy going flying and dislocated his finger.” The coordinator clarified that the stuntman is now okay.

The Expendables franchise includes a star-studded cast with the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, Andy Garcia, and Megan Fox. It also features Randy Couture, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, and Levy Tran.

While speaking about 50 Cent, the movie’s stunt coordinator revealed he ‘loved working with such a talented cast’ on the new film. Box Office Mojo has reported that the film made $15.5 million at the worldwide box office and was highly successful.

This is only 50 Cent’s latest film. His last role was in the 2019 Stallone movie Escape Plan: The Extractors. However, he has also appeared in his renowned Netflix series Power.
