50 Cent claims Tupac Shakur murder suspect “talked himself into jail”
50 Cent has mocked Tupac Shakur murder suspect Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis over his imprisonment.
Keefe D was charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon, having been accused of orchestrating the drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996.
The G-Unit boss, who is no stranger to providing his opinion on current events, took to Instagram to claim that the 61-year-old only has himself to blame for being behind bars.
“Keefe D talked him self into jail,” he wrote on November 27th. “Show some love brother Love. LOL you can’t make this shit up.”
50 posted a mugshot of Keefe D, along with a video of him telling Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to “show some love” to him.
Earlier this year, Keefe D gave his first prison interview with ABC News. “I’m innocent,” he said. “I ain’t kill nobody. Never did, never killed nobody. They don’t have no evidence against me. Can’t even put me in Las Vegas. Prove that I orchestrated this. Your key witness orchestrated this. Their top witness is a lead suspect.”
Davis allegedly incriminated himself in his 2019 memoir, Compton Street Legend, and during a BET interview. However, he claims he didn’t write his own book and that the information was provided to him by the police.
“I shouldn’t have said nothing, and I’m innocent, man,” he said. “I’m being held against my will. I’m supposed to be out there enjoying my twilight [years]. God got my back, and God will see me through this.”
Keefe D was arrested in September 2023 and faces up to life in prison. His trial is scheduled to begin on February 9th, 2026, after multiple delays.
