21 Savage begs Young Thug and Gunna to squash beef

21 Savage has pleaded with Young Thug and Gunna to put an end to their long-standing feud.

The two rappers have had issues in recent years surrounding Gunna accepting a plea deal in the YSL RICO case.

21, a longtime collaborator of both, took to social media on December 17th to beg them to call it quits.

“@gunna @youngthug Yall n*ggas fix that shit yall love each other n*gga you knew gunna wasn’t no gangster when he told the first time and we swept it under the rug for you,” he wrote on X. “you know he wasn’t tryna leave you to hang n*gga fuck the streets we ain’t get shit but trauma from that shit.”

In response, Thug said, “@21savage I love u my brada, u always been with me.”

Gunna pleaded guilty to a racketeering charge as part of an Alford plea, resulting in a five-year sentence that involved one year served and four years suspended. Following the plea deal, he alleged that he hadn’t snitched on anyone to be released from jail.

“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way,” he said.

Thug appeared on the Perspektives with Bank podcast earlier this year and claimed Gunna betrayed him.

“Was Gunna takin’ that plea harmful to me? Yes, 100%,” he said. “First, we tellin’ the jurors ‘YSL ain’t a gang.’ Now [after the plea deals], we goin’ back to the jurors sayin’, ‘Well, some people might say it’s a gang – but we ain’t a part of that part of it. We a part of the record label part.’”

He added, “Even if I don’t want to hear it, you still supposed to be a real n*gga and say it. How can you just do what you did to me and then just go live your life? Like ain’t nothing happened?”
